Meet Dr. David Negin

Dr. Negin was born in Long Island, New York. He received a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology while attending Hofstra University. He continued at Hofstra University with graduate studies in Biology.
Dr. Negin then moved to Manhattan, N.Y. to attend New York University College of Dentistry. While at dental school, Dr. Negin completed a General Residency Externship at Long Island College Hospital, in Brooklyn, New York. Dr. Negin also completed an Oral Surgery Externship at Veteran’s Affairs Medical Center in Manhattan.
After accomplishing his D.D.S. degree, Dr. Negin completed a General Practice Residency Program at Peninsula Hospital, located in Far Rockaway, New York. Upon completion of the residency program, Dr. Negin received the Peninsula Hospital Award for his accomplishments in Implant Dentistry.
In 2003, Dr. Negin was selected as one of three residents at the University Of Pittsburgh School Of Dental Medicine Prosthodontic Residency Program. He completed the three year accredited residency program in this ADA recognized specialty and received his Prosthodontic certificate. During his residency he was able to achieve Fellow and Diplomate status of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists.
Prior to moving to Ottawa, Dr. Negin practiced in New York and New Jersey while serving as an Attending at Peninsula Hospital. He has been an active member of national and local Dental Societies including, the Queen’s County Dental Society, the Nassau County Dental Society, the American Dental Association, the Academy of Osseointegration and the American College of Prosthodontists. In addition, Dr. Negin is a member of the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario, the Ontario Dental Association, the Ottawa Dental Society, and is a board certified Prosthodontist with the Royal College of Dentists of Canada.
